This electronic digital eyepiece/camera can be fitted to a spotting scope or telescope as long as the scope has standard 1.25” eyepiece fitting. The digital eyepiece can be connected to a desktop/laptop computer through a USB cable. You can see a distant object on the computer screen and take pictures of the object by clicking the ‘take a new picture’ icon on the screen. The image of the current scene will be captured and saved into PC. You can also capture a video footage of distant scene (can set frame rate and time limit if you wish) and save the video file into the computer.

For those who have purchased a NIPON 26-78x78 spotting scope/telescope, as the scope has a built in 1.25" eyepiece adapter, you can fit this digital eyepiece directly to this scope. You can also fit other optical eyepieces with different focal length (but with a standard 1.25” fitting) into this scope, as shown in the picture below.

Please note: This listing is for ONE Digital Eyepiece (with relevant software and user guide) only; it does not include any other optical eyepieces (these eyepieces can also be purchased from this shop).

The package includes:

• An electronic digital eyepiece with approximately 3m USB cable;
• A software CD;
• A User Manual/Guide.
• For those who have purchased a NIPON 26-78x78 spotting scope/telescope (upgraded model with a built in eyepiece adapter), you can connect this digital device to the scope directly. For those who have purchased an early model of the above scope without a built in eyepiece adapter, a purposely made eyepiece adapter will be included with this package.  The Nipon 350x70mm telescope can fit this digital eyepiece without needing an adapter.

N.B.: To use this digital eyepiece, you will need to have a reasonable level of knowledge/experience with computing. The digital eyepiece does not have an internal memory, so you will need to connect the device to a computer when it is in use.
