We always say to readers, if there is anything in the text which you consider inaccurate, or if there are any blantantly omitted topics, let us know. An addition to the 5th edition will be a chronology of media events, tracing the history of communication by mechanical means from the invention of paper to the revolution in production and consumption being brought about by digitalisation.
