Synopsis

The animals of Godhanger Wood live in fear of the cruel gamekeeper, dreading his death-dealing daily round; terrified that they'll be next on the bloody gibbet.

From his silent perch in the branches of the great Cedar of Lebanon, a huge, mysterious bird, the Skymaster, sees all.  Too much innocent blood has been spilled in Godhanger Wood already, but the Skymaster's powers of protection are limited faced with the power of the gun, and so the slaughter continues.
