This is a collection of 4 original, mid-nineteenth century, steel engraved prints which were taken from a dis-bound edition of volume 3 of "The Land We Live In."
Drawn & Engraved: Unknown
Titles: "Town Hall and Library, Devonport" (185x265mm) "Devonport, from Mount Edgcumve" (185x265mm) "The Sound, The Hoe, The Citadel, and the Catwater" (185x265mm) "Plymouth, from Mount Batten" (265x185mm)
These were published in London by 'Charles Knight' in 1850.
The edges and corners are generally a little chipped and browned with age. The 'Plymouth, from Mount Batten' print suffers from a little spotting and damp-staining. This affects the blank margins, as well as the left half of the print. These imperfections will be less visible once the print is framed. The other 3 prints are crisp, clean and in very good condition.
The images are generally crisp, clean and in good condition. These will look very good when mounted and framed.
