Desoutter powered automatic drilling machine

If you've used one then you will know how versatile these are, if not read on.

The unit is based around a Desoutter AFD auto feed drilling head, this is mounted into an adjustable, (rotationally & vertically) pillar which has an integral cast table type base.

The unit is bench mounted with tee slots for vices or fixtures, the AFD unit is set for feed speed, peck depth and final depth.

Air driven Desoutter head with integral reducing gearbox, has independant cycle start & cycle interrupt control buttons reverse, simple one hand operation. Standard type collets, (not included but easily & cheaply obtained, ebay & elsewhere)

AFD 415 will drill to a total depth of 100mm

Up to approx 6mm, maybe 8 in aluminium & soft materials, mild steel, Cast iron etc. would need clarification from desoutter or tooling rep.

Invaluable for jobbing machine shops, very popular with aerospace manufacturers and any volume production of smaller components.

Consumes approx 3 CFM at 80 PSI when in use, 1/4 airline input has pressure regulator, water trap and lubricator unit, ready to use (once set)

Used but good order, collection preferred from Coventry area due to weight.
