Desoutter powered pantographic arm for production tapping, drilling, countersinking, de-burring, etc.
If you've used one then you will know how versatile these are, if not read on.
The vertical post fixes to your workbench, if fixed centrally then you have a minimum working radius about 200mm to a maximum radius of about 2500mm,
around this you can drill, tap, countersink multiple holes at any level up to approx 1000mm from the bench surface.
The pantographic arm is gas ram counterbalanced and maintains true vertical alignment of drills, taps etc, designed for repetetive use, takes the tedium out of tapping, countersinking, deburring, etc.
Includes storage catch to keep compressed out of the way when not in use.
Air driven Desoutter head with integral reducing gearbox, has lever forward control with button reverse, simple one hand operation. Quick change collets, (not included but easily & cheaply obtained, ebay & elsewhere)
Up to M10, maybe M12 in aluminium & soft materials, M8 or possibly M10 in mild steel, Cast iron etc.
Invaluable for jobbing machine shops, very popular with toolmakers.
Consumes approx 3 CFM at 80 PSI when in use, 1/4 airline input has pressure regulator, water trap and lubricator unit
Used but good order, collection preferred from Coventry area but will ship at cost by Interlink, postcode required for quote.

Retailing on ebay and elsewhere without the quality Desoutter head for around £800 for a cheap & cheerful, to a reasonable quality unit at £1500+, this is a true bargain for a cost & quality conscious engineering company.
