Deep Sea 75' Cruiser Designer Whitaker 1911 Article
"The accompanying plans show a 75-foot motor cruiser designed by Morris M. Whitaker. The boat is designed for genuine deep sea cruising, with liberal freeboard, very heavy construction and large gasoline capacity. There are no windows in the boat, every opening for light being a port, which can be closed and made water-tight. There is a small pilot house over the forward end of the engine-room, entered from the rear, and the after deck will be well scuppered. The draft is 5 feet and the fuel capacity 1,300 gallons, with 500 gallons of water................."
