This is a miniature teapot in cobalt with a transfer printed portrait of a lady. The inner rim of the teapot has a piece missing, and there are 3 minute chips, one on the spout and 2 around top rim. Fortunately these cannot be seen when on display. There is also some rubbing on the gilt. It measures approx 6cms high and 11.5cms from spout to handle. The backstamp is a beehive mark in underglaze blue. 9551 is impressed and painted in green.
