LOTR RPG Book 1: Core Book. This 304 page full colour hardback rulebook contains everything needed to start playing the LOTR RPG:

*Character creation that is nearly limitless in scope, including six archetypes to get you started quickly.

*The complete CODA SYSTEM rules, allowing for quick, flexible and cinematic gameplay.

*An innovative magic system that captures the subtle nature of power in MIddle-earth.

*Detailed guidelines for creating and telling your own stories set in Middle-earth, including tips for creating truly epic fantasy stories linked into extended chronicles.

The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game from Decipher was developed by Steve Long. It is licensed by both New Line and Tolkien Enterprises thus uses information from both the Peter Jackson films and JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The books are beautifully laid out and contain imagery from the films. Using the CODA system, the LOTR RPG is a d6 based game that allows for quick, flexible and cinematic gameplay.

This RPG is now out of print. Although sold as used, this book is in superb condition and has been barely used.
