In the DVD AT WAR WITH THE ARMY Dean Martin stars a Vic Puccinelli long time friend of Alvin Korwin (Jerry Lewis) in a zanny knock-about comedy. With World War II looming, the buddies drag themselves away from the care-free life they've been used to and enlist in the Army, but as any raw recruit will testify, the training camp is a great system for separating the men from the boys, and the leaders from the followers!

Vic displays natural leadership qualities, wheras poor Alvin can't master the military lifestyle at all, and finds it even more difficult to understand the attitude of his newly promoted pal towards him. Has he forgotten that they were supposed to be friends?
