The eight songs that comprised the set were recorded at Woodbine Studios. With record sales Worldwide increasing, the band were reaching a far wider audience than ever before. * This was an intense period of musical and personal growth for the band, which cumlinated in the two writing pieces for a concert in St Peters church in Vauxhall, London. Lisa Gerrards contribution to this once-in-a-lifetime event was the track ‘Persephone (the gathering of the flowers’) the albums closing track. * Lisa said of this track “I felt that this piece of music, I don’t care if it takes me 30 years to finish, I want to describe this. It’s called ‘Persephone’ you have to go to hell and back.
