The advantages of daylight
We all
recognise that natural daylight is a healthier and more comfortable
light both to work with and for hobby or craft activities. The most
obvious advantages are the ability to see better in natural light and to
be able to see colours accurately. Moreover, the qualities of daylight
which include high contrast and low glare, result in reduced eye strain,
less stress and higher work output.
Most lights,
be they tungsten, fluorescent or halogen emit a red/yellow glow. While
this creates a warm comfortable ambience for dark winter nights, the
