This is one of two stunning works by Dawn Matthews I have listed - both are really special pieces. This is an artist's proof 14/18 pencilled in Roman numerals bottom left. Dawn is a listed artist b 1952 in Australia. She lives in Dumfries and exhibited widely in the 70's and 80's - she is a graduate of both Bournemouth and Poole art college and Northumbria University.

The title is 'New Abbey Pow' super dark moulding in great condition/under glass/cut mount

This is a really worthwhile picture in an unusual almost impressionistic style.
