Extremely well written and informative publication covering the fascinating and complex world of Japanese antiques and collectibles.  Produced in Japan, but written entirely in English.

This issue features great articles on Hand Painted Banners, Hideyuki Netsuke, Bijin Kuchi-e (Prints of Beautiful Women used to Adorn Novels), Chawan, Tea Ceremony, Ceramics, Woodblock prints, and the Ohura School of Ikebana - other topics also included.

Not to be missed if you are into Japanese antiques and/or Asian culture in general.  Many serious collectors accumulate Daruma magazine religiously and old, out of print issues are especially coveted.

The photography and printing in the book is extremely vibrant, and stunning.  My digital images below are poor by comparison.

Its very high quality, printed on nicely lacquered thick stock.
