Dark Brown 100% pure wool knitting felt felting 4 ply

100g ball of 100% Pure New Wool Tweed in Dark Brown, knits as 4 ply. (I have tried to show the colour as accurately as possible. It looks accurate on my screen, but all screens vary).

Singles yarn, delicately speckled with lighter shades of brown, cream etc. The speckles are also 100% wool.

Brand new, fantastic quality British wool ideal for knitting, crochet, weaving, craft or felting projects.

It knits as 4 ply, to any 4 ply pattern . . . or use double to knit as double knitting.

There are approximately 217m per 100g ball.

I've also used this wool a lot for felting in the past, with extremely pleasing results.

Brand new, direct from the mill. This is a Limited Edition yarn which isn't available in the shops. Wound on my wool winder. The wool coils slightly as it is pulled from the ball.

There is natural oil (lanolin) left in the wool for spinning, which is removed after a delicate wash. The wool 'blooms' or 'fluffs up' a little after washing :o)   For best results, handwash gently. Can be machine washed on a cool, delicate wool wash.
