DALLMEYER 12in (310mm) f5.6 COATED LENS with 42mm SCREW THREAD FITTING.

Rare British-made telephoto lens from legendary manufacturer Dallmeyer, with 42mm screw thread fixing. Dallmeyer is a very respected name, and this example is in a very usable condition. It's Dall-Coated, and close focus point is 15ft. There are pre-set apertures from f5.6 to f32. Lens is in good used condition showing signs of normal use - some wear and handling marks on the barrel. The optics are free from scratches clouding and fungus, but there are some coating marks which should not affect image quality -  the lens should produce good results. With an M-42 to Bayonet adaptor, the lens could be used with many different Bayonet mount SLRs, film and digital. The focusing scale is measured in feet, and serial number is 497239. Comes with hood, front and back caps, and 'correct' original box - though Ser No on box is different to that of lens.
