Lucas C40 dynamo is also known as part number LRD100, it has an original number on it of 22748A, it has an output of 22 amps. It is also a replacement for the earlier C39 Dynamo. It will fit the following vehicles;

Ford Capri/Cortina 1.3 up to 1973

Ford Escort Mk1 1.3/1.6 up to 1973

Land Rover 2.25 up to 1973

Morgan Plus Four 1.6 up to 1974

Mini 850/1000 up to 1972

Morris Minor 1000 up to 1972

 MG Midget 1300 up to 1973

Triumph Spitfire Mk3 up to 1972

Also fits fits many Tractors-Boats-Plant vehicles.
