Q) Where does this product come from?
A) This TV tuner is made in Taiwan and comes with authorized TotalMedia provided by ArcSoft (worth $79.99), which is free because it's included in the price of TV tuner.

Q) Is there a socket so I can use my own antenna?
A) Yes. An external antenna might be essential (dependant upon local Freeview signal strength).

Q) Do I need to plug in a digital aerial?
A) No. the normal TV aerial is enough (e.g. roof aerial), or working with the portable aerial that included in the package.

Q) Is it possible to use other aerials (not the one supplied) with this product? What type of connection would it need?
A) The USB TV receiver can be connected to a standard aerial by normal coax plug.

Q) Do I need an internet connection and be online?
A) No Internet connection is needed for the working of this product.

Q) I can receive digital TV but how can I find out if the area I live in has a strong, medium or weak signal?

Q) Does this item come with software to record programs and can I burn them to DVD and watch on a normal DVD player?
A) Yes. Included software allows you recordind TV programs. Programs recorded and saved on your PC/Laptop will be recognized by most of the computer operation systems (you do not need to worry about this), however, should you want to watch these saved files on a normal DVD player, you might need the external burning software (e.g. Nero for DVD creation) to do so and make sure the DVD disk is correctly burned as the standard DVD format.

Q) Does any DVB-T receiver like this work in other countries (e.g. Italy)? What if installed in an area covered by the country’s DVB network?
A) Yes. The digital service is not confined to the UK. Most Western European countries also have their digital TV / DVB service.

Delivery Schedule
