A compact and sturdy camera brace for prosumer style DV cameras, which will keep shots steady by creating a triangular support between camera base plate - chest support and shoulder strap.

The support weighs in at a lightweight 250 grams and folds down to a compact 25cm. The central support is constructed of toughened alloy, with a gearless adjustable column which will extend through to 38cm. This allows the user to align the camera to the most suitable vertical height for viewfinder adjustment.

Once mounted onto the brace the camera can be tilted backwards and forwards via the 180 degree pivoting tilt head which is also lockable at any position.

The shoulder strap is also fully adjustable with a rubber neck pad and sliding belt buckles. The strap and entire brace can be quickly removed from the neck via the interlocking belt clip fixed to the brace handle.

  
 
         
 
 

The base plate is fully removable from the tilt head by depressing the two side buttons and pulling the plate forward. This can then be screwed independently to the base of the camera, allowing quick release of the camera.

The camera brace comes supplied with it's own zip-up vinyl protection case with draw-string strap.

This is an ideal, low cost support which will allow smoother hand-held camera operation for both static and moving shots.
