This, his critically acclaimed new solo album 'Between The Lines' (Remedy Records) featuring John Taylor and Roger Taylor from Duran Duran and members of Faithless, Van Morrison's Band, Primal Scream, Medicine Head and Groove Armada among others. John Taylor, Duran Duran, wrote - “Dom Brown is a great British guitar player in the great British tradition of Clapton, Beck and Page. He brings an understanding of blues and roots music to today’s sonic environment to shape guitar music that is both freshly innovative and reassuringly traditional. He also has a beautiful voice. Dom has made bold contributions to the Duran Duran 2007 album “Red Carpet Massacre” As a seasoned session man, he hasn't held back in roping in a few favours from his famous associates. This album features appearances from members of Faithless, Primal Scream, Jethro Tull, Van Morrison's band, and the rhythm section of John and Roger Taylor helping out on "Amazing" and "Crocodile Tears". 'Between the Lines' stays firmly in the middle of a rock-soul road with Orson on one kerb and Kravitz on the other. Brown perhaps errs on the side of muso-ism, but the crazy fretwork on "Vanity" is almost cool enough for Duran themselves.
