Book Description: William Bray, London. Full Sheep. Book Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Early Edition. 8vo - 7 Inches. Rare early reprint of this work, first published in 1610. Bookplate of C. W. H. Sotheby loosely inserted at front. The date of this reprint is usually given as 1711, although that would appear to be an educated guess. Bound in recent full speckled dark brown sheep with raised bands to spine and gilt spine titles on a morocco spine label. Minimal wear. (8), 9-24, 33-78 pages. Collated complete and text continuous despite pagination jump. Missing advert leaf sometimes found bound it at rear. Minor small waterstaing to corner of last few leaves. First three leaves a bit toned. Final leaf printed slightly skewed and near cropping the chapter heading. Rare work in complete and sound condition.
