DS lite P6 touch screen connector clip for motherboard

Have you broken the P6 connector while replacing the touch screen? easily done!

 Here we have an original spec replacement, compete with side solder tabs as per the original.

Please note, part is small and soldering skills as well as a fine tip soldering iron are required.

My way of installing, desolder old connector, place new on in situ, lining up the rear pins exactly with the solder tracks, hold in place using pointed instrument (a cocktail stick will do!) dot the iron on the side tabs, one its secure add a little more solder to the side tabs to make a good mechanical joint. With a clean iron tip, lightly touch the pins, there will be enough solder on the tracks to make a good connection,as if you try to add more its easy to bridge the tracks causing a short. job done!
