Tom Hanks, & TV’s original cast member, Harry Morgan.
The jacket in this listing is one of about ten promotional
jackets ever made – VERY RARE!
It is a 22-year-old L.A. DRAGNET Police Jacket, badge 714,
made by “Adseo” out of L.A., California for ”MCA Home
Videos” promoting their release of the movie “DRAGNET”
to home video.
My sister-in-law’s boyfriend worked at
MCA Home Videos & he gave her his jacket.
It was too big for her, so she gave it to her brother,
my husband. We have kept it in mint condition since.

 
Description:

Police blue with replica police badge & gold lettering.

Zip front with ribbed knit collar, cuffs, & hem.

Quilted lining.
2 front pockets.

1 inside breast pocket with Velcro closure.

The Police badge patch is black, golden yellow & white
with “DRAGNET  LOS ANGELES POLICE 714”  on

the left front (see photos 1 & 2).

Across the back is “DRAGNET”.  (see photo 3)

100% nylon outside with 100% quilted polyester inside.
Machine wash warm, drip dry.

History of badge 714:

In the original TV DRAGNET series, badge 714
was selected to be Friday's badge as a way to pay
homage to Babe Ruth's all time home run record,
which at the time was 714. The original badge
belonged to a real officer, L.A.’s Sgt. Dan Cooke,
the technical director during the TV series.
The L.A. Police Dept. retired badge 714 in
January 2008 to the L.A. Academy’s Museum.

RETURN POLICY
Returns are always welcome, however, the following criteria must be followed.
Items ”not as described”, or “sent in error”

3) The return request must be made in writing within 24 hours of receipt.
4) Once the return is authorized, the package must be postmarked including
