This collection includes a reading of Bram Stoker's 1897 classic horror novel Dracula (complete and unabridged), as well as several dramatic radio adaptations of both Dracula and Frankenstein, all in MP3 format on CD. Packed with over 22 hours on 1 handy CD which will play in any CD-MP3 player (or DVD players which support this format). Alternatively you can play on your PC CD/DVD drive or transfer the tracks to your MP3 player and peruse at your leisure.
These shows comprise :
Dracula - Bram Stoker's seminal novel, all 27 chapters complete and unabridged (each chapter is presented as a separate mp3 file for convenience). Plus 2 other classic old-time radio dramatisations of the tale, including Orson Welles' 1938 Mercury Theatre performance.
Frankenstein The complete run of 13 radio shows from 1931 starring George Edwards, closely based on the Mary Shelley novel. Plus 3 other classic old-time radio dramatisations of the tale.
All shows are arranged chronologically, with dates on each show (if known) - not jumbled and duplicated as with some other compilations! The sound quality is mostly very good, a handful are of inferior quality but all are perfectly listenable. Please note this is an unprinted disc with no artwork but supplied with protective box.
