The Artist has asserted his moral right to be identified as the creator of this work. All 'DR Originals' Artworks are copywritten CLB 2009 and are titled, monogramed and dated by the artist. Outstanding acrylic on canvas Artwork entitled 'The Mona in the Fireplace' An original, acrylic on canvas, painting (Inspired by the fictional monster the Clockwork Robot from the BBC 'Dr Who' Story 'The Girl in the Fireplace') represented as Leonardo Da Vincis Mona Lisa. This original painting was commisioned, from the artist CLB, as a set piece on the new fan film 'A Clockwork Dalek' which is based on Stanley Kubricks adapatation of the Anthony Burgess novel 'A Clockwork Orange' but with the parts and situations adapted for characters and monsters from the worlds of BBC TV's 'Doctor Who'. The painting features in scenes at the writers house (as part of the 6 piece set) that's ransacked by the TimeLads. On the reverse of the canvas the phrase 'THIS IS A FAKE' is written in red marker pen in reference to a scene in the BBC TV 'Dr Who' story 'The City of Death' that the painting is inspired by.
