DOUG WILDEY (1922 - 1994) was a self-taught artist whose early comic strip work includes Buffalo Bill, The Outlaw Kid, and The Saint. However, he was best known for his work in animation, and for creating the action-adventure series Jonny Quest. Other cartoons he worked on include Return to the Planet of the Apes, Jan of the Jungle, and Godzilla.

This is the original art for page 1 of Warfront #32, the contents page, published in 1958. The illustrations for each individual story are photostat paste-ups, the but large image is all original. This piece is in very good condition, and has an image area of 12" x 18".
