We would like to offer for auction the CD book: Dogma and Ritual of High Magic by Eliphas Levi.

Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie (English: Dogma and Ritual of High Magic) is the title of Eliphas Levi’s's first published treatise on ritual magic, which appeared in 1855.

 

It included a translation of the Nuctemeron (or Nuctameron), a work allegedly written by Apollonius of Tyana.

 

Levi's Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie was translated into English by Arthur Waite as Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual (1910). Waite added a biographical preface on Levi.

 

Bulwer-Lytton was regarded as a leading authority on magic and occultism in England, his interests extended to the study of clairvoyance, magic, astrology and mesmerism, he was also the president of a local Rosicrucian group seeking esoteric wisdom from psychic and spiritual enlightenment.  It was Bulwer-Lytton who encouraged Levi to write a treatise on magic.  As a result he later wrote:  Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie in 1855.  This was later translated into English by Arthur Waite of the Golden Dawn as Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual.  The opening lines of the introduction to the book leaves the reader with little doubt as to its theme of Occult Mysticism:

This book has initially been converted in to Microsoft Word format for easier reading, and finally put into PDF format (free PDF reader can be obtained from adobe.com). We have made sure that spellings of certain words and grammar have not been altered, or changed in any way. Our CD books are devoted to ancient texts and rare, out-of-print books many of which are hundreds of years old. These volumes sell for thousands of pounds putting them out of the reach of the average reader, until now! We also sell up to date books where it is sold under distributor license from the author from whom I have been given the full licenses and permissions. CD books are an alternative version of the original book which is usually out of print, hard to get hold of or created by the owner to save on costs. They are not audio books and do not contain any verbal information. All that you require to do is insert the CD in your computer and open the files. All our CD books have been scanned and are free of any viruses and any other malicious software etc.
