    This is the same lamp as initially supplied by manufacturer of your tv when you first purchased your set.
    Please note: when replacing the lamp if there is a fuse on the housing of the lamp replace it with exactly the same value fuse.

     The fuse will re-set the lamp back to zero as you turn the tv on.
    This applies only to Sagem  Rear projection tvs.

    This is the same lamp as initially supplied by manufacturer of your tv when you first purchased your set.

    This is a bare lamp which would fit inside the existing housing of your tv.

    Not touch the lamp with bare hands as this will reduce the lamp's life.
    When putting the housing back in place, do not use force as this may damage the connectors.

    Q: How do I know it is the lamp that's gone?
    In most cases you will hear a loud noise, in which case the lamp will burst inside its enclosure and tv fails to turn on. though, there may be sound, but you won't have picture, or sometimes no sound and no picture.
    If you have not changed your lamp for more than 2 to 3 years the picture will get dim and you must replace the weak lamp and stop using the tv otherwise the weak lamp can cause damage to the Ballast circuit board.
    However, since lamp is not the only component in the tv, sometimes the lamp power board known as the Ballast can also fail, which can result in lamp not powering up.

    Q: Is this just the lamp or the lamp and enclosure?
    The answer to this is stated in the description.
    We have bare replacement lamps, which can be replaced with old one as well as complete lamp unit with its housing.
