DIY Guitar Shop Unbound Ash Body Tele Style Guitar Builder Kit

The DKT04A unbound Ash body tele style guitar builder kit, made exclusively for DIY Guitar Shop, is back in stock!

The DKT04A Series builder kit features an unsealed three piece Ash body and Maple/Rosewood neck to allow you, the builder, the freedom to complete real stains and sunbursts as well as solid or oil rubbed finishes. These new series bodies feature a back "belly" comfort contour. Responding to many requests, we have spec'd these kits with 21 fret Maple/Rosewood necks for a clean look. Everything is included except finishing supplies and elbow grease!

NOTE: The kit shown above is not the actual kit up for auction. While the features are exactly the same, the body and neck timber grain will vary.

DKT04A-R Specifications

BODY: Unfinished, unsealed, pre-drilled and pre-routed three piece unbound Ash
NECK: Unsealed 21 Fret Maple w/ Rosewood fingerboard, matched to body, with installed pre cut top nut, unshaped headstock with pre-drilled tuning machine holes
PICKUPS: 2x vintage style single coil neck and bridge
CONTROLS: Pre-wired 3-way pickup selector switch, 1x volume and 1x tone controls mounted on chrome control plate. Some soldering required
BRIDGE: Tele type chrome 3 saddle, four screw top-loader.
TUNING MACHINES: 6x0 sealed type with ferrules and mounting screws
SCRATCHPLATE: Single ply black 8 hole with mounting screws
HARDWARE: Strap buttons, neck plate with screws, output jack plate, string trees, truss rod wrench
