We are proud to introduce the new DKS03A-R Alder Body Strat Style DIY Guitar Builder Kit, made exclusively for DIY Guitar Shop!

Like its older cousins, the new DKS03A Series builder kit features an unsealed three piece Alder body and Maple/Rosewood neck to allow you, the builder, the freedom to complete real stains and sunbursts as well as solid or oil rubbed finishes. Responding to many requests, we have spec'd these kits with 21 fret Maple/Rosewood necks for a clean look. Everything is included except finishing supplies and elbow grease!

NOTE: The kit shown above is not the actual kit up for auction. While the features are exactly the same, the body and neck timber grain will vary.

DKS03A-R Specifications

BODY: Unfinished, unsealed, pre-drilled and pre-routed three piece Alder with front arm and rear body comfort cuts
NECK: 21 Fret Maple w/ Rosewood fingerboard, matched to body, with installed pre cut top nut, unshaped headstock with pre-drilled tuning machine holes
PICKUPS: 3x vintage style single coil
CONTROLS: Pre-wired 5-way pickup selector switch, 1x volume and 2x tone controls. Some soldering required.
BRIDGE: Strat type "tremolo" with 3x springs.
TUNING MACHINES: 6x0 sealed type with ferrules and mounting screws
SCRATCHPLATE: W/B/W 11 hole with mounting screws
HARDWARE: Output jack plate, strap buttons, neck plate with screws, string trees, tremolo bar, truss rod wrench.

Shipping...	Royal Mail is our standard carrier. For heavier and/or larger items we use Parcelforce or DHL. Your item will be packed very well in anticipation of a bumpy journey to your door. Insurance is recommended for every item because one never knows exactly how bumpy that journey could be! Most items will ship within three or four business days from receipt of payment. Transit time is generally less than 48 hours. If you want it faster and are willing to pay those additional charges from the carrier, we'll do that too!
