Lavishly decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls, this magnificent mirror would make a fabulous backdrop for a roll top bath or look equally stunning above a fireplace - it will certainly create a grand impression on a feature wall.
Traditionally these mirrors are highly gilded, this one has dulled beautifully with age. The gilt has chipped in many places, revealing tantalising glimpses of the gesso and wood frame.
Measuring a rather grand 53.5 inches high and 54 inches wide, this divine mirror will add a little elegant 1930's charm to any stylish home.
The mirror, though in excellent condition is an old item and is not in perfect condition, as well as the aforementioned chips in the gilt, the glass is slightly cloudy and there are a few cracks in the frame - these'imperfections' authenticate this as a vintage piece and serve to add to the air of faded grandeur. The mirror is entirely usable, and very solid.

We can arrange delivery to the onward courier of your choice - we recommend  - clicking on the logo will take you to their delivery tarif, you will need to make your own arrangements with them. Delivery of up to three items can be made to Abbey antiques depot, or the onward courier of your choice in Southern or central England for our standard delivery rate of £65.
We are also now offering a delivery service within France, this is limited to certain regions - please ask for details before bidding ...

We are happy to store items for up to six months, should you wish to purchase over a period of time
Collection
If you live in France and wish to collect, you are very welcome - we are just outside of Verteuil-sur-Charente, a very pretty village with a stunning Chateau!
Our couriers charge only one delivery fee for items delivered to the same address at the same time, so please take a moment to look at our other items - your second purchase will be delivered FREE!!!
