The timber moisture meter is idel for testing moisture content of boards to a depth of 20mm. A very portable unit with a padded carry case. Can also be used to test for Damp on plastered walls prior to painting.
The handheld rubber cased unit displays the moisture content % on the large LCD screen.
Moisture content values are different for each wood types, so the tester can be used to assess different wood types including:
Elm, Fir, Willow, Eucalyptus, Gmelina, Sandal Wood, White Wax, Maple, Hemlock, Birch, Oak, BassWoodm Balsa Wood, White Fur, Manchurian-tree Wood, White pine, Larch, Red Pine, Chile Pine, Teak, Aspen, Clone & Walnut.
