A very good used condition hardback book, with d/w (very minor edgewear) of 127 pages with b&w photographs. Pages clean and crisp.

Leo Nomis was an RAF pilot who served with distinction during World War II. In 1948 he volunteered to fight with the Israeli Air Force in their struggle against their Arab neighbours. This is a frank account of his unit's exploits during the War of Independence, based on the journal he kept.
