Many types of pain which are often relieved with drugs can today be treated by electrical stimulation with no side effects. Pain relief with TENS (Transcutaneous Nerve Stimulation) is produced through high frequency electrical stimulation of the nerve which disrupts the pain signal so that the pain is no longer felt. If you want to break free from persistent pain conditions such as rheumatic/joint/muscle or back pain etc then you must try this dual channel device complete with four self-adhesive re-useable pads.

TENS will relieve back, knee, shoulder, neck, muscle associated pain as well as many other work related injuries, such as: carpal tunnel syndrome, RSI (repetitive strain injuries) and many other problems related to today's sedentary working environments. Simply place the pads over the area to be treated and use as often as you like at work or at home to sooth your pain away. TENS stimulates the body's own natural endorphin process to reduce pain - fast. A 20 minute treatment provides up to 24 hours drug free pain relief.

Our TENS Pain Relief Machine has 2 channels with independent keys giving 50 levels of intensity. The 2 channels can operate in different modes at the same time, or in the same mode using all 4 pads to treat larger areas. There are 12 preset programmes offering a range of Modulation, Burst and Continuous modes and 2 that are user programmable, so you can design your own personal treatments too.

Unlike many of the other machines available, ours features a host of extra features such as single-phasic square pulse output waveforms and variable treatment times from 00:01 to 23:59. Most important is the Fast Adjustment Protection feature - The intensity will stop at level 15 in fast advance mode to prevent the user from increasing intensity too rapidly.

Safety Features
Intensity and pulse width are adjusted at the press of a button and you can scroll through the programmes easily to find the one you want. The large digital display is easy to read, and features include an auto power cut-off after 3 minutes & safety cut-out if pads aren't applied, key lock to prevent accidental use, intensity protection so you can't zap yourself by accident, power indicator, timer & memory. You get 4 re-usable pads plus 2 sets of leads. 4 x AAA batteries (not included) are required.

TENS is symptomatic treatment and as such may suppress the sensation of pain that would otherwise serve as a protective mechanism on the outcome of a clinical process.

TENS devices should not be used with any patient with a history of cardiac problems.

Do not stimulate over the eyes, carotid sinus, over the laryngeal muscles or through the brain.

The effects of long term electrical TENS on foetuses is not known and should therefore be avoided during pregnancy.

Treatment outcome may be affected by the use of drugs or the patient's psychological state.

Patients should avoid operating heavy machinery or hazardous equipment while receiving TENS therapy.
