we are a business and have administration and labour costs as well as material costs. also that being a tack shop, all the following costs are additional to a normal semi self service shop, the costs incurred are as follows:- finding the appropriate correct item size and colour, taking it to the packing station and ensuring it is correctly addressed and required paperwork completed, transporting that with any other parcels to the local postal depot and checking and assisting in stamping each individual package, returning to the office and sending, emails to each bidder to confirm that their goods are on their way, then each sales document has to be filed along with each proof of postage  in the event of any item being lost or damaged by the shipping / postal company, and of course readily available should a claim be required, I do hope you understand and appreciate that the actual postal charges on your package DO NOT include any of the above, and we would be very appreciative if this is taken into consideration when accessing our postand packing charges
