DEAD PAWN, VINTAGE, TURQUOISE & SILVER RING, SIZE 7+3/4

We originally purchased this ring from a well known pawn trader in northern Arizona, adjacent to the Navajo Reservation. Due to Arizona State laws that regulate the amount of information pawn dealers can give out we were unable to determine the name of the artist that made this ring. However, we were told that it was made by a local Navajo artist.

This old beauty features a gorgeous, bright blue, turquoise stone with black and gold matrix. The stone is set in a saw tooth bezel and is mounted on a beautifully carved silver base.

The ring weighed in at a very comfortable 8 grams and it measures 1+1/4" long. There is no mark indicating the silver content. However, over the years that we had it we've cleaned the ring a few times to remove the patina, so we're quite sure that is sterling.

Despite it's age and travels this ring is in excellent condition and would make a terrific addition to anyone's jewelry collection.
