DAVENPORT PLATE

For sale I have this bradex plate by Davenport called "All Things Bright and Beautiful" which is from an original work of art by Linda Worrall.  This plate is the first issue in the Poetry Society of London's Treasury of Classic Children's Verse.

The plate is 8.5 inches in diameter and comes with its' original box, certificate and explanatory literature.  It is numbered 6219C.

The plate is in wonderful all round condition, hard to tell it isn't new. There are a couple of dark pin-prick size paint dots below the girl's left hand on her dress (can be seen if you enlarge the photo) but this is just how it was painted and only mentioned for completeness. There is also a tiny glaze scratch but you have to hold close up and at an angle to the light to see it.
