Payment

We accept PayPal payments, personal cheques, Postal Orders or Bankers  Drafts in UK Pounds Sterling made payable to Illicit Entertainment Ltd  (our holding company) and posted to our address as notified in your  item winning confirmation email from us. Cheques are cleared before the despatch of all items. 



We do not accept payment by any other method (such as cash on  collection, cheques in foreign currency or by bank transfer) unless specifically agreed prior to the close of an item auction or a Buy It Now purchase. 



Payment must be received within three days of the end of an auction item or immediately by PayPal for a Buy It Now item in line with eBay  guidelines.

We are a UK based  company selling original UK products. We ship worldwide daily (Monday  to Friday) from our London office. We endeavour to ship all items on  the day of payment if payment is received before 4pm GMT, or the day after if later unless we are prevented from doing so by circumstances  beyond our control. Items paid for over the weekend will therefore usually be shipped on the next working day.

      

      We ship all CD’s in new padded jiffy bags and all vinyl records in industry quality specially designed vinyl record mailers.

Our winning item email notification should list the exact shipping cost  to your location, but you may use this chart in any event. Select your  location and, if you have won / bought more than one item, select the  most expensive applicable postage cost for one item and add the  appropriate extra amount for each additional item. For example, for a  Double CD and a single CD to Europe, select £3.00 for the Double CD and  £1.25 for the additional item – therefore giving a total in this example of £4.25.

      

      We ship by Royal Mail First Class in the UK and by Royal Mail Air Mail  overseas. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed as this is in the hands  of our carrier but, following the day of payment, to the UK should be  within 2 to 3 working days, to Europe should be within 4 to 5 working  days, to most of the Rest of the World should be within 10 to 12 days.  We will be happy to ship by a means other than Royal Mail Air Mail to  reduce the cost for International Buyers if requested, but our policies  and recommendations regarding delivery times will not apply. For  example, Surface Mail to Australia takes a long time!

      

      In the normal course of our business we do not offer Recorded,  Registered or Special Delivery. It is our obligation to ensure that  your item is delivered, but it is usually not economical for us to send  by those means. If we have a particularly large package for you, we may  decide to do so and will inform you via email. Or, if you wish us to do  so, please let us know at the point of payment.

      

      Your purchase and its delivery are guaranteed by us, so if it does not  reach you for whatever reason, we will either send you a replacement or  refund your purchase price. In practice this means non-delivery within  14 days in the UK, within 28 days in Europe, and within 35 days for the  Rest of the World (unless you have elected for slow shipping) before we  can refund or replace.

      

      We cannot be responsible for any VAT or Customs Duties applied to items  shipped to buyers outside the UK although we find that the majority of  our sales fall below the relevant thresholds in most destination  countries. There are, of course, no tax implications as far as UK  buyers are concerned.

Returns

In the unlikely event that any item you have purchased from us is  faulty, you can return it to us within 14 days of your receipt for a  replacement or a refund of the purchase price. All return items must be  sent, postage paid and safely packed, to our address as set out in your  winning email notification, enclosing, if at all possible, a note of  the item number, your address and whether you require a replacement of  the same item or a refund. 



All goods returned to us are the responsibility of the buyer until they  have been received at our address. You are advised to send any items of  significant value by Recorded Delivery as we cannot be held responsible  for return items that do not reach us, unless you can supply such proof  of posting.



If the damage to an item is limited to a damaged standard CD jewel  case, please contact us before returning the item as we are able to  send you replacement cases very easily and it is a quicker, cheaper and  easier solution for both you and us. If the damage is more significant,  please follow the standard returns procedure.

Other Info

Our products are ALL BRAND NEW CD’s or vinyl unless specifically  described otherwise. They are the same top line records as offered in  all UK high street stores in the same BRAND NEW condition. We sometimes  do sell one-off records that come our way (usually in an auction  format) and although they are often, in fact, new, we would always  describe them as we find them since they will invariably have come out  of the back of a warehouse somewhere, and may be a little less than  perfect. We NEVER sell copies, bootlegs or questionable import CD’s.



Many CD’s are now delivered to us from the record label shrinkwrapped  in cellophane (an American custom), but not all. The absence of a  shrinkwrap does not mean that the item is not brand new. It is!



Feedback – Our Feedback rating is extremely important  to us and we value it highly, as we do our customer satisfaction. If  you have any problem with an item purchased from us, please contact us  before leaving negative feedback. In our experience we can solve just  about any problem to your satisfaction.



We are available to answer any question you may have from 9am to a  little after 5pm GMT (depending on how harsh we are being to the  staff!) every working day.
