These include the death of a suspected drugs dealer in police custody, the discovery of a mystery skeleton and a vicious stalker on Joanna's trail.
Meanwhile, in his private life he must face another family tragedy and a new young woman in his life - Adriana, a wounded Bosnian orphan.
