This is a brand new damp detector.
Detects rising damp and penetrating damp in masonry, plaster and wood. Features powerful audio signal and LED light scale.
Suitable for use in the home and in the car and caravan. Great for detecting damp in a car or caravan you are thinking of buying. Damp can cause a lot of damage if not detected early.
Using the detector could not be easier. Just place the probes on the surface you want to test and press the On button.
The probes repond to different moisture levels. If moisture is present an an audio tone will be heard.
The tone of the sound will differ depending on the level of moisture present. A slow clicking indicates a low level of moisture, while a continuous tone indicates a high level.
Tested and certified to CE standard. Requires 1 x PP3 9V battery (not supplied)
