"Normandy to Berlin" by Karen Farrington was published as a 60th Anniversary Special Edition in 2005.

This book is the story of the last years of the war, concentrating on the war in the west.  After an initial chapter on "Building Up To Invasion", there are chapters on:-

  • The Normandy landings;
  • Into the Bocage;
  • The Destruction of Warsaw;
  • The Falaise Pocket
  • The Liberation of Paris;
  • The Low Countries;
  • The Battle of the Bulge
  • The Bombing Campaign;
  • Into the Reich;
  • The Fall of Berlin; and
  • VE Day.

Very well illustrated throughout with black and white photos and maps.

Soft covers, approx 11.5x8" with 142 pages.

Used with some slight marks to the covers, a small piece cut out from the first page where there was a personal note and some slight creasing to a few pages but overall in very good condition, clean and tidy.

Published by Selectabook Ltd in 2005 (originally priced at £7.99).
