Cyprae quadrimaculata

A large specimen of this lovely cowrie.  Cylindrical to elongate-ovate, dorsum greenish brown, with fine brown speckling; extremities slightly produced with a pair of clack terminal spots at each end.

Sides and base creamy white and unspotted; aperture narrow, teeth coarse and irregular.

Three marginal lines cross the dorsum which makes it a fine example of this specimen.

Measures 25mm (1") and located in Eastern Samar.
