You are bidding on:

A Beech cutlery tray or knife box.

The cutlery tray measures approximately 13.5 inches by 9.5 inches by 2.5 inches high. It is made from beech and it has a plywood base. The corners of the box are held together with a traditional dovetail type joint, and the base is pinned by way of several small panel pins.

The tray is seperated into four distinct segments to hold the various different types of cutlery. To each end is a cut out handle measuring approximately 2 inch by 0.75 inches.

It is in a good condition, it does have a few blemishes to the wood, but personally I think these are all part of the aging process and nothing that you would not expect on an item such as this. To the inside of each compartment the base is covered with a flowery vinyl. To help protect any cutlery, utensils or tools stored within it.

The cutlery tray is a very useful item and would look great in any retro kitchen, diner or dining room.

This box would also be useful around the home for shoe polish and brushes or in the garden or green house for keeping knives, labels, pens and special seed in. Or you may wish to use it as I have done in the past for your art work. Either way it is a most useful and pretty little box.
