Culloden Highlander

75mm or 1/24th Scale

This is our new released figure sculpted by Peter Morton. The figure is a cracking example of a Jacobean era Highland Clans Man, dressed in the original Plaid from which the modern Scottish Kilt is developed. The Plaid was floded and laid on the ground, and the Man lay on it, wrapped it around himself and secured it with a belt.

The figure is armed with a basket hilted sword, tagre, pistol, and dirk.

The usual method of fighting was to advance close to the enemy and fire the pistol which was then dropped, draw the sword and then charge.

The Goverment forces found it hard to deal with this until the Battle Of Culloden.

The Models are originals castings from me the manufacturer and are not recasts, and are produced in the UK.

The pistol and Dirk are seperate t allow the modeller some leeway in there positoning on the figure.
