to a white-hot intensity, Crown Heights Affair were packing dance floors
with their inimitable brand of brassy, high-octane boogie-funk. Boasting
big bushy Afros, wide lapels and even wider flares, this 8-piece New
York group reflected 70’s glitter ball hedonism in all its gaudy glory –
more importantly, they were responsible for some of the best
funk-inflected disco tunes of that decade
