Crown Ducal Louis rose bowl. This lot comprises a large round bowl with removable flower frog. The frog is a hollow disc with white glazed bottom and apricot matt top with an array of holes for the flower stems. The bowl is a round cushion shape with gold trim and apricot blushing at the top and bottom with gold scrolls and embossed leaf shapes The body is cream decorated with brown hand coloured prints of flowers foliage and exotic birds. Maker – The frog is stamped Reg 11865.360. The bowl is stamped in red with the old stamp of crown, belt and buckle, and banner, with the wording Crown Ducal Ware; Trade Mark; AGR & Co Ltd; England and the pattern number 175 which is the Louis pattern from around 1915-20. Condition – Apart from a little crazing and staining and two hairlines the rose bowl is in good condition. The bowl is 12.5 cm high, 21 cm diameter body.
