Unique Macaw and Crow Medicine/Talking stick
Measuring 15" (38cm), this medicine stick is decorated with one large Gold and Blue Macaw feather and one from the Crow.
It is finished in tasseled tan and turquoise suede with hanging hook.
Stick is varnished Willow.
MEDICINE AND TALKING STICKS
The
talking stick was used in Native North American tribes at council meetings. It was used as courtesy not to interrupt when someone was speaking. The talking stick was then passed to the next council member who wished to speak. The stick was a ceremonial item and was decorated with eagle feathers and crystals to show its significance.
These days they come in very handy in many group and circle situations. Keeping interruptions to a minimum and aiding a unbiased dialogue.
From a shamanic perspective, these can be used as medicine sticks or as a highly decorative ceremonial wand.
Also used as part of magick spells or ceremonies.
The choice is yours.
