This auction is for an old box of soaps with Whistler's Mother on the front of the box.  Soaps are made by Chateau  Du Parc Inc Oak Park Ave South Chicago Illinois.  Box label printed  by  Brown and Bigelow St Paul Minn. Maybe 1930's or 1940's.  9 soap bars  4 of which are shaped round with moulded flower on one side 2 of the round ones have little chips of soap missing on side the rest are good.  The box measures 8 " x 8" and has some edge wear one corner has split.  

  I will be listing  more  pharmacy, country store, advertising and paper items in the months to come.  I am selling part of my large collection of items and  I am downsizing my retail location and must clear out a lot of inventory also hand made primitive and country style items.
