This quaint cottage is situated in the locality of Fibialla, 5 mins drive to the medieval market town of Pescia, 45 mins to Pisa and Florence (and their airports), 25 mins to Lucca. Tuscany is in the North West of Italy and served by 4 major airports which all accommodate the budget airlines.

There is a bar/shop in walking distance.

The 40 msq cottage is habitable with a kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. There is a gorgeous woodburning stove for heating and all the original features (wooden beams, exposed stone etc.) have been retained. Downstairs there is room for a single sofabed making this home perfect for couples or small families.

To the side there is a large, flat terrace with great view - perfect for 'al fresco' dining. There is a 'semi-sunk' pool on this terrace - ideal for those hot summer days.

The cottage has been looked after well by the previous owners who used it as a summer retreat. It has just recently been re-roofed and structurally restored and had new plumbing and electrics installed. There is no phone line but cell phones generally function well at the house.

Surrounding the house is an acre+ of well maintained land, planted with mixed fruit trees, olives and other ornamental trees.

The position is idylic with beautiful rural views yet within a walk of bar and shop. This is a perfect little Tuscan retreat for a couple or small family or for someone wanting to rent the house for income (this has been done successfully in 2007 and there is a nearby 'manager' available for key-holding and cleaning).
