About Us

RamsdensDirect is the online trading name of Ramsdens Direct Limited.
 
A family owned and run company we have been serving the people of Yorkshire for over 15 years from our high street retail sites. Our main product focus is Children’s Toys and Nursery Goods; however we also sell vast range of other products including house wares and electrical goods. 

We specialise in buying surplus stock and clearance lines from bigger retail groups and mail order catalogues. With our own warehousing and wholesale operation we have the ability to source the best products at the lowest prices. Whilst our product lines are many and varied our aim is always the same, to provide our customers with a high quality product at a price considerably lower than they can find elsewhere. This is reflected by the fact that many of our products carry the biggest brand names in the marketplace. 

In 2003 we decided to offer our products to a much wider customer base and so the RamsdensDirect website was launched. 

We hope customers both new and old will satisfied with both the shopping experience and the products supplied by this site.

Ways to purchase from our Ebay Store


1. PayPal
Payments should be sent to ebay@ramsdensdirect.com Paypal payment links will automatically appear once you have clicked "buy it now" or won an auction.

2. Credit / Debits cards over the phone.
Please phone 01226 710601 to make a credit / debit card payment directly to one of our sales team. Upon completion of payment your ebay payment record and feedback will be updated in the same way as if you had paid by paypal.

3. Cheques and postal orders
Cheques and postal orders made payable to "Ramsdens Direct Limited" are accepted. If you wish to pay by this method please ensure you include your name, address and Ebay user ID when you post payment to "Ramsdens Direct, Rock House, Barnsley Road, Cudworth, Barnsley S72 8LL". Please be aware that we do not dispatch goods until we have received cleared funds, this can take up to 7 working days

InterlinkExpress Deliveries

This service is a NEXT WORKING DAY SERVICE (ie: no deliveries at weekends or bank holidays) and requires a signature on delivery. A calling card will be left if no one is home to accept the delivery with a number to call to arrange re-delivery. Please reply promptly to these cards to avoid the parcel being returned to us.

 IMPORTANT: This service is only available to mainland UK addresses, for off-shore addresses (N.Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Scottish Islands) Royal Mail Standard parcels will be used, delivery to these locations can typically take up to 7 days.


 ROYAL MAIL deliveries typically take 3/4 days using the Packet Post system. This service is used for smaller items are charges are usually £2.99-£4.99 depending on weight. Additional items are charged at half the price of the first. 

This service is available to all UK addresses.

Returns Policy: 


Unwanted Goods
We want you to be satisfied with all purchases you make from Ramsdens Direct.

Therefore you may return any item purchased from us for any reason within 14 days of receipt and receive a full refund for that item. All items returned must be in their original unspoilt condition, complete with all packaging and documentation. We recommend when returning items to us that you use a traceable service as we can not accept responsibility for items not received by us. 

Please note that postage costs are direct costs and as such are the customers responsibility, we will only refund the purchase cost of the item(s)

Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty goods from us then we will either refund in full or replace the faulty parts / item free of charge. Please email customerservices@ramsdensdirect.com and we will endeavour to resolve your problem as quick as possible.

IMPORTANT: Please email or telephone us prior to returning any products (for whatever reason) and obtain a Returns Authorisation Number. This will ensure your return is dealt with swiftly and appropriately. Your statutory rights are not affected.
